Our story
buy better® started as a simple question: why are everyday people left to face high‑pressure sales and complex contracts alone, while businesses get procurement teams and legal support? From our base in Calgary, we set out to bring that same level of clarity and protection to homeowners, older adults, newcomers, and anyone making major purchases.
Today, buy better® is a consumer advocacy and consulting service operated by BGSD Consulting Corporation. Through our Safe services—SafeGuard, SafeSource, SafeSelect, and SafeBuy—we help you research options, vet suppliers, and understand quotes and contracts in plain language before you commit.
